"Exes & Ohs" is a vibrant new writing night featuring a collection of short plays with an anti-Valentine’s Day twist.
Fed up with the soppy clichés of Valentine’s Day? Whether you’re happily single, romantically sceptical, or nursing a broken heart, this showcase offers a bold and refreshing alternative to the usual tropes. So ditch the roses and choccies, and revel in stories that embrace the mess, humour, and reality behind the romance.
Highlights include a man in the afterlife grappling with the choice between Harrogate and Hull, a woman who takes the bold step of marrying herself, a post-apocalyptic exploration of dating, a woman reporting her husband as missing, a young lad experiencing heartbreak for the first time, and a woman who discovers the joys of being single.
